AAA Minneapolis is an affiliate of the American Automobile Association, or AAA, a not-for-profit, fully tax-paying corporation. The national AAA headquarters are located in Heathrow, Florida, outside of Orlando. AAA has more than 60 million members in North America, 1,100 offices and over 40,000 full-time employees.
AAA Minneapolis has been headquartered in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, at Highway 100 near Excelsior Boulevard, since 1976. AAA Minneapolis is assigned to a designated market territory which includes all of Hennepin County and parts of Anoka and Carver Counties. AAA Minneapolis serves more than 209,000 members, and more than 25% of households in Hennepin County.

AAA Minneapolis travel services includes domestic and international air and rail tickets; cruise vacations; escorted tours and independent package tour arrangements; hotel and car rental reservations, travel insurance programs, and of course, automobile travel. AAA publishes regional TourBook guides covering the United States and Canada, and offers the TripTik Travel Planner for personalized trip routing, guides, maps, and recommendations.
AAA Minneapolis, since 1958, has operated a full-service, independent insurance agency. AAA Minneapolis represents a select group of top-rated companies, offering members and the public insurance coverage for auto, home, umbrella, life, health, including medicare plans, long term care and many other products. AAA Minneapolis operates a full-service, state-appointed motor vehicle Licensing Center in St. Louis Park. Services include boat and snowmobile licenses, driver’s licenses, and licensing for all classes of motor vehicles—plus free parking with evening and Saturday hours. AAA license customers also have access to the Club’s 24-hour drive-up window.

Our traffic safety and advocacy work is facilitated through The Minneapolis Auto Club Foundation for Safety, our 501c(3) non-profit organization. The Foundation manages the School Safety Patrol program and provides supplies, training, and recognition for more than 5,000 patrollers at over 170 schools in Hennepin County.
