AAA Minneapolis COVID-19 Company Policies

AAA Minneapolis is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for employees and guests. We have developed a plan to outline company policies, expectations, and best practices to mitigate the potential transmission of COVID-19 at all AAA Minneapolis locations. This plan has been created with guidance from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other subject matter experts.

While these policies are designed to mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19, it is impossible to stop the spread of the virus completely. Employees and building visitors must understand and accept the potential risk of being in a public office space.

A visitor who enters a AAA Minneapolis location is required to understand and abide by the following policies. A visitor may include AAA members, non-member customers, vendors, and service providers.

1.1 Building Access

The AAA Minneapolis offices may occasionally be closed to the public, open by appointment only or open for select services. Notice of building access, hours, and services will be posted outside the main entrance and available online at AAA.com/hereforyou. Members and customers are encouraged to visit us online or contact us by phone before visiting a AAA Minneapolis office, if possible.

1.2 Personal Hygiene

Visitors are expected to maintain personal hygiene sufficient to mitigate the transmission of viruses while at AAA Minneapolis. Visitors should wash their hands with soap and water after entering the building, and they encouraged to do so before leaving. Visitors are encouraged to bring hand-sanitizer or use the touchless hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the building. A visitor who does not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave.

1.3 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All visitors are required to wear a face mask while inside a AAA Minneapolis building. A face mask must sufficiently cover an individual’s mouth and nose. AAA cannot provide visitors with face masks to enter the building. Gloves are encouraged but not required. If a visitor chooses not to wear a mask, they will not be allowed into the building.

1.4 Social Distancing

Visitors are expected to maintain 6’ distance between themselves, AAA employees, and other visitors. AAA will display directional signage or other markers to outline social distancing expectations, as well as areas of the office that may be closed, or have limited capacity for guests. AAA Minneapolis may, at times, ask visitors to wait outside the office if the building or certain departments have too many people.
